IMPaCT is a partnership group dedicated to working with residents to improve the quality of life in Chapeltown and Harehills. It does this by bringing together all the organisations that work in the area to plan improvements in a coordinated way. It aims to tackles the source of the problems rather than just adopting a sticking plaster approach to the consequences.
IMPaCT is made up of council services, other statutory bodies like Leeds PCT and West Yorkshire Police, Social Landlords like East North East Homes and Connect Housing, residents' representatives and voluntary/faith/communities. IMPaCT is an open partnership. Any representative from a community group or residents association is welcome to join. For a full list of IMPaCT partners, click here.
IMPaCT is accountable to the North East District Partnership, click here for the Leeds Initiative website regular progress is also reported to the North East Inner Area Committee and the East Leeds Committee Area Committee.
