The Chapeltown Road Information Ribbon is an innovative communication method for local residents and groups.

The ‘Information Ribbon’ idea evolved out of a report by Andy Edwards Design on the 'image of Chapeltown', commissioned by Leeds City Council.  It is an evolving set of billboards / street-level newsletters, at sites along Chapeltown Road, that will inform, entertain and engage with local people. Local people's anecdotes, pictures, creative work and archive material will complement news about IMPaCT and other community news to complete a street-level ‘community newspaper’ that will inform and engage local people.

Andy Edwards Design is leading on this project with support from IMPaCT's Communications Group and Connect Housing.
